Description: Millie Mack shows you to approach marketing the same way big companies handle marketing new product introduction. She will walk participants through developing their author brand. This includes mission, goal, audience bios, author website, social media, public relations and other things such as business cards, bookmarks and other giveaways.

Workshop :  Finance for Writers

Presenter : Paula Goddard

Description: This workshop will cover a variety of topics pertinent to the business of being an author or freelance writer. While this is not a sexy topic, it is most certainly a necessary one. With that in mind, Paula will make the workshop both entertaining and interactive. The focus will be on writers creating a strategy and developing a basic financial foundation (Ex:  Budget  Ex: Tax preparation docs  Ex: Memberships in professional orgs) that will allow them to chart a realistic course as a professional writer.
